Authentic Audio and Sound was formed in 1996 to provide sound reinforcement for The Stony Point Concert Series. A showcase for acoustic and ethnic music, The Stony Point Concert Series was named "Best Venue For Acoustic Music" by The Sonoma Independent Journal. Equipment was selected that would maintain the acoustical integrity of the music. This meant choosing a premium speaker system, top quality microphones and a mixing console with world-class microphone preamplifiers.
Authentic Audio & Sound was chosen to provide sound reinforcement for The Healdsburg Guitar Festival's, "Hall of Guitars Showcase". Featuring hand-made instruments played by select performers, these concerts demanded that the sound system provide accurate and uncolored amplification of the performances.
As our reputation spread, we have expanded to provide "authentic" sound reinforcement for all type and styles of music.
Authentic Audio & Sound uses Meyer Sound Ultra-X™ and K-Array™ speaker systems to provide clear and powerful, high quality audio from compact speaker enclosures. This technology reduces the size and weight of our system which lowers our transportation and labor requirements.
Our rates are extremely competitive due to the reduction in transport and labor. Meyer Sound and K-Array technology allows us to install a high quality and powerful audio system where space is at a premium.
